And how about my Coca-Cola chairs? (I actually have two) I just spray painted them over the weekend. They were looking awfully faded so I got a can of Krylon spray paint and went to work. I love the Krylon brand of spray paint. No drips, just a nice even coat of paint on my Coca-Cola chairs.
I did get two quilts quilted today, not bad for a lady turning 60. Gary asked me what I wanted to do to celebrate my birthday tomorrow. I told him you'll probably think I 'm silly (certainly not the first time in almost 40 years of marriage), but I would just love to spend some time quilting one of my own quilts. He had thoughts of going to a garden center and picking out some flowers. We'll just have to see how we end up celebrating my "60th" birthday. However we celebrate atleast we will be together.
Blessings to all.
Congrats, hope you have a great day whatever you do, have just reached 58 years young.
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet post! Yes, it's like Mother's day...what do you want to do? nothing but sewing...a wonderful partner recognizes the love!
ReplyDeleteLove that quilt. It seems to be your own design which is perfect inspiration. Simple quilts are what I love most because the colours say it all. thanks so much for popping by my blog.
The quilt is from a pattern by Camille Roskelley from Thimbleblossoms. Sorry I don't remember the pattern name. I do love the pattern. I have my Double Trouble quilt pattern by Kate Spain that I just put together. That is the quilt I would move to quilt on today, but I may wait and do a customer quilt first. We'll see. Blessings.
