It's raining, it's pouring the old man is snoring!!  I don't know why I remember the words to this childhood song, but it really is RAINING in Monticello, Indiana today.  We have received 1.6 inches since last night. Thank you, LORD.  I'm waiting a few more minutes until the thunder/lightening subside before I go downstairs and quilt.  I've completed three quilts this week with one maybe two to go.

I do hope everyone receives some much needed rain if your area needs rain.  Happy Thursday!

Blessings to all.

  1. I also remember that rhyme! Glad you are getting the rain, this area of South Australia has received good rains in the last month, along with very cold weather. HOpe you get your quilts finished this week.

  2. Still no rain for me. We have received 1 inch since May 6. The leaves are falling and it looks like fall, lilies are dying, I've lost all the annuals I planted, myrtle is all dried up, hydrangeas are almost all dead, and my regular tomatoes are the size of cherry tomatoes.

    1. Viki, I'd send some your way if I could. Maybe today for your area. Who is Myrtle? I noticed my hydrangeas bloomed but did not keep their color. Gary kept everyithing watered though, but there's nothing like rain from the heavens. Blessings.
