Greetings everyone.  I think I may be back in business to post pictures on my blog.  This will be a test run.  My fellow longarm friend, Jude, in Australia told me about Picasso web albums so I'm hoping this will post.

The picture is that of a chevron quilt I did last Friday and Saturday while attending Common Threads Quilt Guild gathering at Pineview Resort here in beautiful Monticello, Indiana.  What a great time to sew new projects, make new friends, share ideas of quilting, life, food and to fellowship.  I really was tired Saturday evening when I came home, I only attended during the day and into the evening.  My time was spent on completing my Chevron Quilt, but oh the wonderful conversations I was allowed to partake in have left me thankful.  Thankful that I can pray for the individuals that shared moments of their life, thankful to learn of others' faith, thankful that respect and grace were shared in our conversations.  When I look at my Chevron quilt I will see the beautiful colors of the fabric in this quilt, but I will remember the beautiful ladies who shared moments of their life with me.

  4. I'm glad I'm up and running again too. This is my second chevron. I think you might remember the first one I did at the Threads of Time retreat in Shipshewana last October. I have it quilted but I don't have the binding on it yet. I am not going to put borders on the one pictured. My first time to make a quilt without borders. I think I'm getting into the modern quilt style or it could be I'm just getting lazy, ha! Blessings.
