Happy Tuesday everyone. I haven't been on vacation or anything like that, but life threw my brother John a curve Sunday night and he landed in the hospital. So Gary and I made a mad dash to Crown Point yesterday to be with John and my favorite sister-in-law Jane. John is still in the hospital as the doctors try it figure out what caused the pulmonary episode. I spoke with him a little bit ago and he sounded like his old self again. I don't take life for granted as I'm sure most of you don't either, but sometimes events happen that do make us pause to realize how blessed we truly are. When you have your loved ones still with you that really is all that matters. Gary and I have lost several of our loved ones over the years and we still miss them terribly but our lives go on they are just not the same. So I say to you to take a little time and pause to remember just how blessed you are that your loved ones are still with you.
Blessings to all.
Very well written, so easy to get busy with everyday life.
ReplyDeleteHi, Jude. Always nice to hear from you. I have enjoyed your posts and seeing all of the beautiful quilts that come alive with your beautiful quilting. We sure are blessed that we are allowed to see, hold and quilt these beautiful quilts. And speaking of I've got a quilt calling me now. Blessings.
