Happy February 17, 2014 everyone and a happy birthday to my sister-in-law, Judy.

As I was walking through my house today I saw a clap of light, heard thunder and when I looked out the window I saw snow coming down heavily.  You gotta love Indiana in the winter.  Let's see how many days until Spring?

Here are a few pictures of a quilt that will soon be going home to its owner, Joann.  I loved the new pattern I put in the black border.  The pattern matched some of the patterns in the material.  Beautiful quilt, Joann.

Blessings to all.

  1. Very pretty border pattern, whose pattern is it. Well done, lovely feeling when we finish another one isn't it? Hard to grasp that you are in snow and we are so hot!

  2. The pattern is by Nancy Haacke www.digitizedquiltingpatterns. I don't remember the exact name but I believe it was in the January 2014 Masters Club set. The border pattern has a snowflake name to it. Although I really didn't think the medallion looked like a snowflake, but we each have our own interpretation. Blessings.
